The screed is a thin material made of mortar applied on top of a structural slab or insulation. Its cementitious composition makes it very sensitive to water and to the environment especially during the drying period. To ensure good quality of the screed’s surface without any cracks, reinforcement is often necessary.
Features
-
Suitable for all types of screeds (traditional, dry, self-leveling)
-
Increased impact resistance of the screed
-
Ensure the stability of the screed even after the first crack
-
Alkali resistant coating
Benefits
In comparison with Metal Grid:
-
Higher performance than Metal Grid
- 60% less visible cracks (and 50% less compared to polypropylene fibre)
-
Easier transportation than Metal Grid
- Flexible roll of 1 × 50 m
- 5 times lighter (only 7kg)
-
Easier manipulation than Metal Grid
- Larger surface covered with 1 roll
- Scissors and knife are enough to cut
- No need to set into the right height with spacers – self-leveling
- No need to connect panels together – simple overlap is enough
